About

The Coalition for Advancing Student Excellence (CASE) is dedicated to ensuring all students in HISD receive a high-quality education. For far too long, HISD students and their families have faced challenges brought about by a system that has failed to put students first.

CASE is dedicated to improving outcomes for the next generation of Houstonians and supporting leaders focused on the future. HISD has the generational opportunity to implement a culture of high performance and a refocus on students by delivering quality instruction, building a safe learning environment, and providing strong support for best-in-class teachers.

The new reforms under implementation by HISD leaders have a proven track record of narrowing achievement gaps by increasing standards, placing the best teachers in the most challenging classrooms, and allowing teachers to do what they do best – teach our children.

CASE is proud to stand by HISD students, parents, teachers, and district leaders to strengthen our schools and deliver the high-quality educational opportunities our communities deserve.
